- Start LaunchPad / Office365.com
- Go to Outlook email and look for an email from me
- Open the Shared Folder link so you can access AngoveShare folder
- At the top someplace, make sure you select link to your computer (or something like that)
- In your OneDrive (NOT MINE) make new folders
DD4 then Premiere, Music, Stuff, Personal
- Download 10 songs to your music folder in YOUR OneDrive (NOT MINE!)
- Make sure there are no lyrics/words in the first 30 seconds - you might need an instrumental version.
- You can use Yout, yt5s or cobalt.tools (or search for YouTube Downloader)

- MHS PICS
1. Get a MHS camera & lens & SD card and go out and get 20 pictures / 5 short videos of MHS
- Download the pictures to a new folder called MHSPics in your DD4
(We will eventually put your best pics in a shared folder on AngoveShare)
- Format the SD card and put it back!
- Keep working on your music downloading as well. YES you might need to do some at home

OLD WORK:
- Your Intro/Outro should be done by now. Upload them to the DD4Vids folder.
Make sure your fomat is JUST LIKE MINE
- FOLDER - Period-LastName-Intro-Outro
- FILENAME - 1-LastName-Intro, 1-LastName-Outro and so on.
This makes using them MUCH easier
- ALSO make another folder called USED so we can put them in there once we use them.
- Screenshot your 10 songs and upload that picture to FOCUS
Make sure your songs have an artist then the song.
TODAY'S WORK:
- Film 12 camera angles that are frequently used in cinematography.
- HERE is a link to a YouTube video that describes the different angles.
- You should do the following:
1. watch the video
2. In Word, write what each of the camera angles are with a picture that represents the angle. Upload to FOCUS when done.
3. Get a partner and go on campus and film the angles, alternating speaking roles.
4. Use the main Sony Cameras/Iphone/GoPro's to film everything.
5. Create a team Premiere Pro document and work on it together.
Focus on good angles, camera work, clean audio and good vocal quality.
Don't forget intro/outro and tell what the camera angles are.

- Check out your Future Video Page on your old website for new ideas that you can film this year. You should think about what project you want to make YOURS.
- SEAMLESS TRANSITIONS - Peter Walbeck
- Time to practice some transitions - there are 8 mentioned in the video
- Watch video and get an understanding of what they are - you might want to take some notes, but I don't need you to turn in anything.
- Make a new folder in either YOUR or your partner's folder so you can share the project.
- Don't forget you need Intro/Outro and description of what you are doing.

GO PRO filming
TODAY'S WORK:
- REVIEW with your boss what your "thing" that you want to film this year on a monthly basis. It should be something repeating with the same theme -- can be almost anything, but run it past your boss and see what they think
- WEEKLY VIDEO ASSIGNMENT
Record something with the GoPros that you couldn't easily record with your phone/camera.
- IDEAS:
- CAT - Tie a toy to the GoPro and record your cat chasing it.
- CAR - Get a magnetic mount and get some cool angles (Tire,you,behind you, etc)
- SCHOOL - Put the camera above you and walk in school traffic to get a shot of students going to class.
SCHOOL: Record a class change and then speed it up
SCHOOL:
Record yourself walking from the front office to class then fast forward it. (That might be a new intro!)
- I really hope you can come up with better ideas than this though.
- IF you are advanced, try out the 360 GoPro - have some fun
BUT you will need to download the GoPro app to work with it - NOT at school though.
- DO NOT GET BEHIND IN YOUR WORK!!!!

- Create a PSA on something around campus - Phones, hallway etiquette, how to be a successful student, etc. Come up with something funny and interesting.
- Do this with a partner - you probably want to make it a team (2 not 10 people) project.
- BE CREATIVE, thoughtful and funny BUT not too funny....
- Run your ideas past your boss.
- Montly Video - what are you your thing? I need solid ideas by the end of the week.
Remember if you are relying on others for your video, it makes things difficult.

- Music Video Steps:
1.
Download a song with lyrics that are understandable.
2.
Download some BG clips from Pexels/MixKit.co/YouTube
3. Create a sequence with those - Use Mirror Effect
4. Go to Windows/Text and Create captions.
5. Check for accuracy.
6. Adjust the Size settings
HERE is your first video to set you up. HERE is your second video to make the video.
- Create a PSA to help school run smoothly - Due end of next week - but get it turned in early if you can.
I would rather have 3-4 separate ones with a good message than a long one. HOWEVER - If you have a good idea - go with it.
USE the Mixkit.co to make a cool intro (if needed)

- Practice this three times and read it to your "boss".
- This is not a test / Some will do well, some won't - we are just practicing something new to see if it is feasable.
